I have moved away from the archaic xanga site to this hip and with-it blogger site to continue my e-pursuits into discourse and discussion. All of the blogs that I read are on this site, save for the The Office cast members on myspace, so now I feel like I am a part of the e-community of e-procrastination again.
I used my former blog as a random mash of personal reflection, anecdote preservation, and the critique of the television shows that I like (primarily the now defunct Gilmore Girls). I think this weblog will steer away from being a whiny journal for my personal life and focus mainly on the skewering of the Four Things I Think About: Local Sports Teams, Television, Adult Rec Sports, Awesome Miscellanea. There will probably be the odd post about a crummy day, but for the most part I am using this as a way to get back into the semi-creative writing at a B- level that I used to crank out in high school.
This was my introductory blog. I will follow up shortly with a feature that, knowing my temperament, will most likely be a frequent column; What are my hopes and dreams pinned on now?

ReplyDeleteI watched my second-ever full episode of Gilmore Girls last week and I flipped out because, in the diner, they had the same table that I have in my bedroom. Mine was my grandma's kitchen table in the sixties - it's this neat white enamel with a red design and red sides. It's really quite a looker.
ReplyDeleteYou're the only person I know who would even remotely care. I thought it was cool.
That is totally cool. I know exactly which table you are talking about. I miss that show and simpler time it represented.
